What is the best treatment for post-acne spots?

I do not have ance more, literally maybe a few places but rarely anywhere, but my skin is very red all the time and it seems like I still acne, what is the best treatment? lotions for beauty treatments? diets? something that seems to work, I have not really tried anything I'm on the pill, which has helped my skin a lot and I use pro-activ, which I like but I have Clear Skin, but it doesn't look like it if you catch my drift due the color and uneveness help!
