I got rid of pimples, but how do I stop blackheads?

I finally have a skincare routine that is more or less kept me from getting spots, with occasional one here or there, but I can not stop the formation of blackheads. I know it's almost impossible to get rid of them completely, but is not least one way to reduce them to a degree where I would not worry about them all the time? I still much on my forehead and on / around my nose. Even if I am a blackhead extractor they just back the next day. I also started drinking more every day in the hope that it will help. Any advice??
